The Venue

Fair Oak Farm, Witherenden Road, East Sussex, TN20 6RS

This stunning, multi-award winning venue, set within 12 acres of nature and only fields surrounding it, is the perfect space for us to escape to for a weekend of Bliss.

With the entire venue to ourselves, enjoy the crisp, fresh air in the gardens, courtyards and fields while taking in the glorious Sussex scenery.

Cosy up in the warming, rustic accommodation & enjoy the incredible yoga studio, sauna, cinema barn, treatment barn & games room.

1 Hr direct trains from London. 5 minutes from Stonegate Station. Plenty of parking on-site.

Your Host - Amy Chilver

—> Amy has been practising Yoga for over 16 years. After the profound impact that Yoga had on her life, Amy trained as a Yoga Instructor to share her passion for Yoga with others.

—> Amy’s classes always bring an element of challenge, play and calm. Amy encourages her students to connect with their own bodies and to make choices which work for them on that particular day. Whilst alignment focussed in her teaching, she emphasises the importance of ensuring it feels good for that student and that there is no right or wrong in practice.

—> Amy’s favourite thing about teaching Yoga is the wonderful people she meets. Members of the community who join her classes are incredible and inspire her daily, and she can’t wait to spend some quality time with them on Winter Bliss.

—> Amy has over 700hrs of Yoga Teacher Training and has trained in Advanced Vinyasa, Mandala, Rocket, Restorative, Mediation, Breathwork, Yoga & Mental Health, Pregnancy & Post Natal. Amy also has a Psychology BSc degree and she brings elements of her work in this field into her classes.

Accommodation

There is a wide range of wonderful accommodation available. The focus of the accommodation is to provide people with as much as their own space as possible to really feel like they are able to retreat and reflect.

The accommodation is made up of: 1. The Farmhouse 2. The Treehouses 3. The Barns 4. The Cottages & 5. The Huts.

All prices set out below include everything listed in the ‘What’s Included’ section above. You will not have to spend another penny once you arrive unless you choose an optional extra.

You do not need to know another person going on the retreat to book into a shared room. If you would like to share with someone but are coming on your own, you will be paired with another person who has booked on their own and wants to share as well. It is one of the most beautiful ways to meet people, I have made life-long friends from room shares on yoga retreats!

If you would like to be paired with someone specific, please let me know and I will ensure you are together.

Accommodation - Farmhouse

The grade II listed farmhouse was first built in 1599 and oozes rustic charm with exposed timbers and period features. Cosy bedroom suites with in-house products in bathrooms.

Master Bedroom

- Large double bed (option for 2 singles)

- Views over the rear gardens

- Separate dressing room with built in wardrobes

- En-suite bathroom with separate, large, walk-in power shower

Bedroom 2

- Large double bed (option for 2 singles & an additional single)

- Original part of the house with valley views to the south

- En-suite bathroom and bath with hand held shower head (no standing shower)

Bedroom 3

- Large double bed (option for 2 singles)

- Original part of the house with valley views to the south

- Bathroom shared with bedrooms 4 & 5 which has a bath with hand held shower head (no standing shower)

Bedroom 4

- accessed via original ladder style wooden steps in to the first open space with a double bed (note this room has sloping ceilings)

- through the main bedroom is a smaller room with a single bed (only accessed by walking through main bedroom)

- Bathroom shared with bedrooms 3 & 4 which has a bath with hand held shower head (no standing shower)

Accommodation - Tree Houses

Two eco-lodge tree houses sitting in an ancient tree line with uninterrupted valley views

Tree House East & West

- Queen-sized bed (can be made into 2 singles)

- Wet room with WC, sink and shower

- Seating area & kitchen

Accommodation- cottages

Two rustic cottages with their own living areas

Stable Cottage

- Double bedroom cottage (can be shared as a double bed)

- Separate living room with kitchen

- Bathroom with a bath & handheld shower head (no standing shower)

Grain Store

- Double bedroom (can be shared as a double bed)

- Separate kitchen/living/dining room with sofa and TV

- Bathroom roll top bath and separate walk-in shower

Accommodation - barns

The cow sheds surround a private courtyard with outdoor seating, barrel tables and large fire pit, the Hay Barn nestled in between the Tree Houses looking over the Alpaca fields.

Barn Twin Room

- Small twin bedroom off the Main Barn (please note, the Main Barn is a communal area)

- Separate adjacent bathroom with a bath & handheld shower head (no standing shower)

Cow Shed East & Cow Shed West

- Double bedroom (option for 2 singles)

- En-suite bathroom with a bath & handheld shower head (no standing shower)

Hay Barn - my favourite room!

- Queen-sized bed (can be made into 2 singles)

- Open-plan studio space with kitchen seating

- Shower room

- Private patio with outdoor table and chairs

Accommodation -Shepherd huts

Cosy cabins in the orchard, surrounded by beech hedge

How to book

1. Send an email to amychilveryoga@gmail.com with your choice of 2 room preferences in order. Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

2. I will respond confirming if that room is available (and if not, suggesting an alternative if possible) & requesting payment of deposit (£200) and filling in of a booking form. A full set of Terms and Conditions will be provided before requesting payment of deposit.

3. I will hold the room for 24 hours in order for the deposit to be paid and the booking form to be filled in.

4. On receipt of payment of deposit, I will send you a confirmation email and receipt securing your booking.

5. Full payment by 10 January 2023. Payment Plans available e.g. you can pay monthly for the remaining amount after deposit is paid.
