About
Amy has been practising Yoga for over 15 years. After realising the profound impact Yoga had on so many aspects of her life, Amy trained as a Yoga Instructor to share her passion for Yoga with others.
Amy did her Yoga Teacher Training whilst working full time as a Solicitor in the City of London. After teaching yoga alongside Lawyering for a year, Amy took her Advanced Teacher Training in India.
Amy has recently spent 4 months in India where she experienced intense training in pranayama, meditation, chanting, sound healing and asana, to further her skills as an Instructor and provide more for her students both physically and mentally. Amy has also trained in Yoga and Mental Health, specifically depression, and brings in elements from this training as well as her Psychology degree into all her classes.
As a Solicitor, Amy has a deep understanding of the huge stresses and pressures in the corporate world and aims to share tools and techniques with her students for both their physical and mental health both on and off the mat.
Amy offers a variety of styles of Yoga class to tailor to her students but generally takes a holistic approach by incorporating strength, flexibility, breathwork and meditation into her sequences.
Amy’s aim is to hold a space for students to feel welcome, connected, at ease, and with a sense of achievement. Amy’s favourite thing about teaching is the people she meets and she is always open for a chat after class!
