The Venue

Our private Quinta - our sanctuary.

This entire estate, just for us, surrounded by peaceful Portuguese countryside. It is the perfect setting to embrace stillness, recharge and let go.

The estate includes an outdoor lake-side yoga deck, stunning indoor yoga studio, various indoor and outdoor seating areas, an art studio, a meditation garden, volleyball court, horse stables, swimming pool, fire pit terrace, and an orchard.

What’s Included?

- 5 nights at our luxury Quinta, exclusive to us

- All Yoga classes: Mandala, Rocket, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Nidra (x9)

- All workshops - examples: arm balances, inversions, backbends, journalling, intention setting, flexibility, strength, anatomy, partner work (x4)

- Crystal Bowl Sound Bath (x2)

- Guided Art Therapy Expression Session - express yourself through various guided art techniques

- Small Group Asana Lab - a workshop as a small group to break down some postures of your choice with opportunity for questions specific to your own practice

- All sessions centred around a theme for the week, so we can move and breathe with intention and direction

- All food and drinks, lovingly prepared by our private chef using homegrown herbs and vegetables from our very own vegetable garden (see Food section below for further details)

- Freedom to explore the surrounding countryside, Lisbon & other beautiful towns close by

Note: Flights and transfers to the Quinta are not included.

The Quinta is a 1hr 15min taxi drive from Lisbon Airport OR a 2 hour train ride from the airport with a free pick up included from the local station.

I will help with arranging taxi shares and will keep an eye on flights and assist with recommendations.

- Tuesday afternoon is reserved for a longer period of free time for any exploring you would like to do.

The Food

Your Host - Amy Chilver

—> Amy has been practising Yoga for over 16 years. After the profound impact that Yoga had on her life, Amy trained as a Yoga Instructor to share her passion for Yoga with others.

—> Amy has over 800hrs of Yoga Teacher Training and spent 4 months in India where she experienced intense training in Advanced Vinyasa, Mandala, Mediation and Breathwork. Amy has also trained in Rocket, Restorative, Yoga & Mental Health, Sound Healing, Pregnancy & Post Natal. Amy has a Psychology BSc degree and she brings elements of her work in this field into her classes.

—> Amy’s classes always bring an element of challenge, play and calm. Amy encourages her students to connect with their own bodies and to make choices which work for them on that particular day. Whilst alignment focussed in her teaching, she emphasises the importance of ensuring it feels good for that student, and that there is no right or wrong in practice.

—> Amy’s aim is to hold a space for students to feel welcome, uplifted and with a sense of achievement. Amy’s favourite thing about teaching Yoga is the wonderful people she meets. Members of the community who join her classes are incredible and inspire her daily, and she can’t wait to spend some quality time with them at Autumn Glow.

Accommodation

NOTE: each investment listed below is inclusive of the items listed in the ‘What’s Included’ section above. Unless you book optional extras, you will not need to spend another penny once you arrive at the Quinta.

There are three room types:

i) Twin beds (2 people) with ensuite bath/shower room

ii) Double bed (2 people) with ensuite bath/shower room

iii) Double bed (1 person) with ensuite bath/shower room

Each room has its own character and theme and are all decorated in their individual style.

If you would like to reserve a shared room, you do not need to know another person going on the retreat to book this. You will be paired with another person who has booked on their own as well. It is one of the most beautiful ways to meet people, I have made life-long friends from room shares on yoga retreats!

Surrounding Area

Set in the peaceful Ribatejo countryside, an hour from Lisbon this is the perfect place to retreat. Settle in to the slow rhythm of the countryside and greet the days with a sense of calm and gratitude.

I fell in love with Lisbon the first time I was fortunate enough to visit. I am so excited to be heading to a venue so close to such a stunning city for those who would like to explore, but far enough to soak in nature’s simple beauty for those who enjoy switching off from the hustle.

How to book

1. Send an email to amychilveryoga@gmail.com with your room preference (please specify if you would like a bath or shower and I will do my best to accommodate). Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

2. I will respond (i) confirming if that room is available (and if not, suggesting an alternative if possible); (ii) requesting payment of non-refundable deposit (£500) and; (iii) filling in of a booking form. A full set of Terms and Conditions will be provided before requesting payment of deposit.

3. I will hold the room for 24 hours in order for the deposit to be paid and the booking form to be filled in.

4. On receipt of payment of deposit, I will send you a confirmation email and receipt securing your booking.

5. Full payment by 1 May 2025. Payment Plans available - please get in touch and we will work it out :).
