The Venue

The Quaives, Seaton Rd, Canterbury CT3 1RU

This beautiful venue, set within 19 acres of nature, is the perfect space for us to land for a weekend of bliss.


This land, filled with secret gardens, tree-lined fields with an array of flowers, plants and trees, and a large pond full of fish and frogs with small waterfalls at both ends is an immersion into your nature whilst surrounded by nature itself. 

Direct trains from London. Closest stations Canterbury East & Canterbury West.

Plenty of parking on-site.

- 1 x pre- retreat Online Flow & Restore Class on Sunday 13 February 6:30pm (exclusive to retreat attendees so everyone can meet)

 9:15pm onwardsif you aren't ready for bed, I invite you to sit by the log fire with a tea and a new friend, take some alone time, or get stuck in to a good book…

Pre 8amif you are an early riser, I invite you to take a mindful walk or jog around the beautiful grounds, enjoy some journaling…

8 - 8:30am tea, coffee, fruit, healthy bites

8:45 - 9:45am Morning Yoga

10 - 11am Healthy Breakfast

11 - 1:45pm Free time -  a chat with a fellow Yogi, silent mediation, a game of tennis, crisp fresh air, a massage (additional cost)…

 1:45 - 2:45pm Nutritious Lunch

 2:45 - 5pm Free time - wrap up warm and snooze in a hammock, an energising walk around the grounds, mediation, a massage (additional cost), explore the surrounding countryside…

5:15 - 6:30pm Class/Workshop

6:30 - 7:30pm Nourishing Evening Meal

 8:30 - 9:15pm Restorative Yoga & meditation

This timetable to give you a general idea of what to expect. It is subject to change to suit the needs and preferences of the group.

Your Host - Amy Chilver

—> Amy has been practising Yoga for over 15 years. After the profound impact that Yoga had on her life, Amy trained as a Yoga Instructor to share her passion for yoga with others.

—> Amy’s classes always bring an element of challenge, play and calm. Amy encourages her students to connect with their own bodies and to make choices which work for them on that particular day. Whilst alignment focussed in her teaching, she emphasises the importance of ensuring it feels good for that student and that there is no right or wrong in practice.

—> Amy’s favourite thing about teaching Yoga is the absolutely wonderful people she meets. Members of the community who join her classes are incredible and inspiring and she can’t wait to spend some quality time with them.

—> Amy has over 650hrs of Yoga Teacher Training and has trained in Advanced Vinyasa, Mandala, Restorative, Mediation, Yoga & Mental Health Pregnancy & Post Natal. Amy also has a Psychology BSc degree and she brings elements of her work into her classes.

You do not need to know another person going on the retreat to book into a twin or dorm room. You will be paired with another person who has booked on their own as well. It is one of the most beautiful ways to meet people, I have made life-long friends from room shares on yoga retreats!

If you would like to be paired with someone specific, please let me know!

How to book

1. Send an email to amychilveryoga@gmail.com with your room preference. Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

2. I will respond confirming if that room is available (and if not, suggesting an alternative if possible) & requesting payment of deposit (£200) and filling in of a booking form. A full set of Terms and Conditions will be provided before requesting payment of deposit.

3. I will hold the room for 24 hours in order for the deposit to be paid and the booking form to be filled in.

4. On receipt of payment of deposit, I will send you a confirmation email and receipt securing your booking.

5. Full payment by 14 January 2022. Payment Plans available.
